Pacman

Pac-Man (Puck Man in Japan) is a 1980 Namco arcade labyrinth game. As Pac-Man, the player must munch his way through a maze while dodging four ghosts of different colors. When Pac-Man consumes enormous flashing dots known as "Power Pellets," the ghosts undergo a momentary transformation into blue, which enables him to consume them and earn more bonuses.

Pac-Man is a video game in which the player guides the titular figure through an enclosed maze in an action-packed chase. Pac-Man must devour all the dots in the maze while evading four ghosts of different colors: Blinky (red), Pinky (pink), Inky (cyan), and Clyde (orange). Players go to the next level when Pac-Man consumes all the dots. Fruit symbols at the bottom of the screen show levels.

• Initially, the player uses a joystick or the arrow keys on the keyboard to control Pac-Man in the video game. Pac-Man must travel the labyrinth screen to consume the 240-dot lines while avoiding or eliminating one of the four ghosts that are following him. These ghosts are like monsters.
• Pac-Man must devour all the dots in the maze while evading four ghosts of different colors: Blinky (red), Pinky (pink), Inky (cyan), and Clyde (orange).
• Every ghost strikes differently; Blinky moves the fastest, so it is usually called Shadow. The ghosts leave the "ghost cage" in the middle of the maze and stray about the board as the game runs on. Each time Pac-Man encounters a ghost, the game ends and he lose a life.
• Four power pellets are in the corners of each level. If Pac-Man can ingest one, all the spirits will change dark blue and become edible. A ghost fades once devoured, and its eyes go back to the ghost prison to regroup and fight. Bonus goods take the form of fruit and other consumable objects meant to increase points; the value of the several fruits varies. Pac-Man loses all three lives, the game ends.

Pacman Game Strategies:

• Be sure to keep an eye on all your rivals, as there are only four ghosts in the game.
• You will not find much sophistication in Pac-Man's AI. Even though ghosts seem to be chasing you, they often divert their attention to other things when they are close behind. To avoid being surrounded, head in the direction of the ghost that needs to "choose" between continuing to follow you or taking a different path. Many times, you will be fortunate. Also, remain in places with many of exits and pathways; it will be much simpler to evade your pursuers in these places.
• Get a good grasp on the fundamentals and then focus on collecting points.
• Consuming a ghost from a power-up transforms it into eyeballs, which slowly make their way to the maze's center (the jail area) to recharge.
